Leadership Keynotes and Workshops

A lot of people scratch their head in bewilderment trying to figure out how a “martial artist” can offer leadership programs.  To be honest we didn’t think we could until some time ago, someone suggested it. We took a step back, gave the idea some intense thought and came to the same conclusion- it is possible for a martial artist to do leadership programs.  The key is found in the underlying principles of governing martial art styles in the world.  When most people think of martial arts their mids are flooded with images of punches, kicks, ninja-like fights, violence fueled by Hollywood or the media.  In reality the martial arts are really not about how you can harm another person, rather about life-guiding principles integrated into your training with the hopes of making you a better, well-rounded individual.  Confucian philosopher Sun-tzu said it best,”To win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the highest skill.  To subdue the enemy without fighting is the highest skill.”

When you take a moment to really understand the core of these arts you will find that it is not about fighting but rather creating decent human beings through the application of life principles. The programs we offer are:

So many people talk about how people are simply not very nice any more.  You see it all the time with people being violent toward each other.  One of the missing ingredients is the long lost art of “Honor”.  If we take a moment and look at this principle we will see how, once it is applied, giving honor to ourselves, our families, peers and co-workers will make this world a better place.
