GuardianU  offers violence prevention, sexual assault/ rape prevention, alcohol awareness, personal safety and self-protection programs for colleges, corporations and organizations.  We specialize in practical empowering personal safety programs for people all across the world.  Please know that we understand audiences want to be uplifted and entertained — especially when discussing a sensitive issue and our programs have been designed with that concept in mind. The programs also have been designed to teach people how to use strategies rather than physical conflict.  The underlying theme of all our programs is to be proactive not reactive when it comes to being safe. All programs have been designed for various walks of life no matter if the person is 18 or 60 years old.

Our presentation style is light-hearted, fun and non-threatening while making sure the seriousness of our message is conveyed. GuardianU was founded by Dave McCubbin with the sole purpose of teaching people how to protect themselves. Our philosophy is based on several core principles and developing the best weapon everyone has, your mind.

Mission
Our mission is very straight forward… To equip people with the necessary skills to keep themselves safe in all aspects of life. Through violence prevention and awareness programs, hands on training seminars, and media products; our goal is to impact people no matter the age, level of ability, or walk of life. We help transform their lives from feeling powerless to being powerful. Furthermore, Dave is a dynamic, energetic and nurturing speaker whose blend of real life experience, humor and thought-provoking topics will leave your attendees with a long lasting message and skill sets that are immediately applicable to their lives. 

Many people view us as a provider of violence prevention seminars and self-protection workshops, however we are much more. While it is true we teach people how to protect themselves, we also show people their inner potential and value. Everyone is unique and this uniqueness gives them intrinsic value. No one has the right to violate or harm anyone, either mentally or physically. The illusions of fear, doubt and low self-esteem are removed and replaced with perseverance, adaptability and power.

Who ever said personal protection involved fighting?

Is it possible to defend ourselves and not get physical? Resoundingly yes! This workshop is not your typical self-defense class, as a matter of fact physical technique is one of the least emphasized topics; instead we focus on how to develop your own personal defense style.  While many violence prevention programs train the use of the punch and kick to defend yourself they do little to develop strategies and principles necessary for self defense.  Our goal is to develop a complete individual that is able to use the wholeness of ourselves with respects to personal protection. Crisis intervention programs for human service environments

Did you know that on the job safety is still a top concern for health care workers?  This program is a crisis violence reduction, intervention and control program designed exclusively for the health care industry.
